We all love our dogs. They are our friends and we are theirs. But if we are to live in one house we need to fix some rules. It is very similar to setting the rules when you are a parent. One of them is crucial - we sleep separately. If a child gets in to his or her parents bed there is no harm done. But if the dog does it... well, not everyone will accept that fact. Especially just after coming back from the long walk in a rainy day. What can we do about that? Buy you beloved animal its own bed! There are plenty of shops offering dog beds. Big or small, tall or short, both wide and slim, black, red, even purple. Dog beds are mostly washable, therefore you can put if even in your bedroom and just wash it if the smell isn"t enjoyable any more. Buying your dog its own bed is a great solution if you wish to be with your animal all the time while in the house, except the bed. Dog will understand that and no harm done. One piece of advice - the sooner the better. It is not so easy to teach the older dog new habits.
